Vee SatayamasEven if Oracle doesn't keep supporting JDK, I don't think it will be like Solaris. Because many parties still use JDK and I don't think people want to replace it with something else. Unlike Solaris, since 199X, GNU/Linux has ran GCC, Apache Httpd, Perl, etc. on inexpensive X86 computers. And people love it (GNU/Linux).
