      @vinzv Ich kann das nachvollziehen - ich habe mit meiner Ein-User-Instanz natürlich die totale Freiheit, sofort den Stecker zu ziehen - was ich mir auch öfters überlege... Ist irgendwie schade, dass GnuSocial auf dem Abstellgeleise gelandet ist - ich habe auch viel zu wenig PHP Kenntnisse, um da grundlegend weiter dran zu bleiben. Es reicht gerade, um mal einen Bug auf der Instanz zu flicken... Im Schatten der ganz Grossen ist es leider immer wieder ähnlich: Enthusiasmus - und Ernüchterung.

      @vinzv Das ist sehr schade. Vinz, ich danke dir viel all die Mühe und Zeit, die du in GNUsocial.de investiert hast, um uns eine wunderbare Alternative zu den kommerziellen Netzwerken zu bieten. Es hat mir viel Spaß gemacht und war auch super interessant. Ich hoffe, man sieht sich irgendwo wieder! Dir alles gute.

      On a side note, I guess if anyone's interested, !loadaverage has an open registration…

       Thanks for your work, @vinzv I used your node occasionally, it was stable and worked as expected (unlike some GNU Social servers that hadn't updated for a while). I hope you and all the users of your node will find a new home in the Fediverse. See you later!

       As for #GNU Social development, a pity it is as it is. Just days ago @dansup said he would work on ActivityPub integration, before he got disheartened by his MRs being ignored. May be something can still be done about it.
