The toolchain I have works well. I can take STLs, run them through Slic3r PE, and print them with absolutely no trouble.

As someone whose introduction to 3d printing came through Makerbot, I can certainly state that Makerbot is hot garbage compared to this. Being able to get a dimensionally accurate result in one shot was a pleasant surprise. I was not used to things fitting so well.
