That link you gave is just an argument for DRM. We shouldn't be promoting pirated materials. That just destroys the case that folks are capable of being responsible for themselves without some nanny device like DRM.Pirated materials and people who responsibly buy and enjoy DRM free digial assets are very different things.

Yeah, agreed. But if nobody supports artistic content creation; all we will be left with is propaganda and pornography. #choice #responsibility-

Being a musician, there's no money in selling product anymore. It eventually gets ripped and uploaded. Only to be downloaded for free. The only way to make money these days is to play live. I don't have the answers for you, you're not the only one in that boat (Being an artist) One just has to roll with the punches, as it were. to acclimatize, to adjust. Think of alternative ideas. Be like water, grasshopper. ;-)

[Smashwords](https://www.smashwords.com/) & [Lulu](http://www.lulu.com/) are good ones. If you use Calibre there are suggestions for DRM free sources. -

The [Defective by Design](https://www.defectivebydesign.org/guide/ebooks) maintains a great list of resources as well. -

But thank you for bringing up DRM. There really should be more resistance to it. In my experience it causes more problems than it solves. Digital products shouldn't be treated any different than physical ones. It's a matter of education and an understanding of how important it is to support creators. DRM only benefits the gate keepers.Don't buy DRM. 😉
