@theru not sure about it! 😅 i should change the entire transmission group, but in the latest years i used it not so much due to various problems...i'm looking for this, maybe, this fall: https://www.canyon.com/en/mtb/neuron/2018/neuron-al-7-0.html

That really looks like a neat bike and good component (I'm not an expert) as well :)

@theru i think it's a good compromise for the use i will do: it's not carbon (+2kg) and components aren't the best (SLX which is the 3rd level in Shimano components, best is XTR then XT). Fork and ammo are 300-400g heavier then the best ones. Anyway i don't race so a bit of weight more isn't a problem for me! 😀

As long as the base components are there you can always swap the other ones. I'm also not really that bothered about how much a bike weighs (after all I can lose more weight than the bike :P). I also think using top components isn't something you gain that much with. They are made to be light not to last a long time.

@theru ...and i want them last a long time! 😀 on my actual mtb, except for chain, brake pads, and once bottom bracket are still the original components! Oh except the wheels because i bought an upgrade)... 13 years of honored service 💪
