   Hey, for anybody who is not pleased with duckduckgo's relevance lately, I am pleased to report that #startpage is noticeably better while also being privacy focused. After a probationary period of using it on one device, I've switched completely.

   (Now I just need an extension to direct searches starting with a ! character to #duckduckgo so I can continue using bangtags)

      Doesn't need an extension to search with a keyword (or a keyletter). In the settings for #Chromium or #Chrome open "Manage search engines", DuckDuckGo should already be in there, then change the keyword from "duckduckgo.com" to "!". Now you can search ddg by typing "! thing-to-search-for" (yes, you do need a space). For !Firefox and its derivates create a new bookmark with the location "https://duckduckgo.com/html?q=%s" and the keyword "!", and again you can search by typing "! stuff"

         @bobjonkman So a bangtag would become a bangbangtag, haha. "! !w foo" to search Wikipedia for example. Neat.

            For Wikipedia I just create another search entry with keyword "w", so I can just type "w foo" to search Wikipedia...

               @bobjonkman @deutrino I have 'ew' for english wikipedia, 'fw' for french wikipedia. And sooo many more! :)
