   This is strange. Now RBI mandates linking of Aadhaar number with bank accounts. (from the looks of it both existing and new bank accounts). This is "subject to final SC judgement".

   Long ago RBI was against Aadhaar linking as it is neither secure enough to prevent illegal activities nor is there any benefit. This move further reinforces the fact that RBI has been reduced to a puppet of the govt and Aadhaar mafia.

      Also SC had indefinitely extended linking of existing bank accounts with Aadhaar. Looks like UIDAI/iSpirt are desperate to ram Aadhaar through before it falls apart like a rotting corpse.
