Christine Lemmer-Webber@Aerdan @awilfox @staticsafe @Elizafox @CobaltVelvet ActivityPub can function without this kind of user discovery; the intention to not rely on Webfinger was very explicit in the group in the decision to make it Follow Your Nose. That doesn't mean it can't work with it, as we just discussed... and it already does today with Mastodon!
