   Spain is doing everythig they can to stamp on Catalonia's sovereign right to seek a referendum on independence. 11 officers, of which 9 were police and 2 were Civil Guard, have been injured trying to stop it from happening.
   
   This is what the EU does to countries who've lost their will to exist independently.
