this is a completely off the wall post from mike rowe, but there's a detail that caught my eye in particular:

“So what the deal, Mike. Are you a cop or a spook?”

the woman (kelly) talking to mike rowe thinks he's either a cop or a "spook" because he didn't have a airline ticket. she's a marriot hotel executive, apparently. so, interestingly, the terminology "spook" is in use around her circles.
