   So if you do use Retries for messages that fail the first time to ease federation problems, it becomes especially neccesary to go through and weed out dead servers from your subscriptions, otherwise since the posts are processed in series, not parallel, you can end up with quite a delay in transmission times.

      Alternatively use the redis queue since it WILL work more or less in parallel.
