@adam Sorry to disappoint you, but the Nokia Asha phones are *not* Symbian, but the successor of S40.
They were meant to bridge the gap between feature-phones and smartphones. All apps are Java apps, which means they have no, or very little, ability to run in the background (so no tracking, as long as you don't open the app)
