Alex@rtnVFRmedia Suffolk UK@weirdoslam @nev in late 1990s/early 00s I helped a friend set up a studio to make breakcore/hardtek/drum and bass crossovers, we couldn't afford a 909 but as well as sampled drums had this thing (that was fed into an analogue effects unit). also we'd record things like digeridoos made from similar drainpipes the Northern lad used, metal and other items being dropped from height to concrete floor, trains and other random noises...
