Well? There was a time when #games got a real multiplayer-mode and it was even possible to connect to each other without further so-called "helpful" client-software, named here #Steam or #GOG-Galaxy.
Where is the time now? Today people cry out for those clients, even reject when there is no further support for features like archievements and more of those nonsense timesink. But hey: Giving out data is so easy, even it seems interesting what we are doing with our games for companies. And upcoming additions like multiplayer-mode for #Stardew-Valley are only restricted to supported "platforms". Meaning: Because of a missing client there is no support for #Linux on #GOG and of course #Steam has support but guess what: Using a complete #DRM-platform instead? No thanks. #Free-and-Libre #No-DRM #Defective-by-Design
