   Anyone have experience in the tech "consultancy" area? I'm a developer but down here in Costa Rica I've been asked by a bunch of companies to help them get their systems online + automated.

   I'm a lot more informed than them in the tech world of course, but I don't know what/how to charge for this sort of stuff.

   If I sit down with my neighbour who runs a property management business and charge him $60/hr (my web dev rate) he is going to crap himself
