@theru @perloid I've been using it for months. That is the first time its done that. Maybe humidity is a factor. Maybe the last refill went wrong...
Ah well, its still my "writing notes next to the keyboard, on the back of misprinted printer paper, pen."
@NYbill @theru Sometimes it's an indication that you need to give the pen a good clean. Wash out the barrel and nib, and possibly the cap. Sometimes the pen gets a knock while capped and drops ink in there that transfers to the grip.
I spent much of my high school days with inky fingers I have to tell you though. Also, if you look at any of the pen channels on YouTube there are many inky fingers to be seen there 😃
@theru @NYbill That demonstrates a rare and special skill 😉
@perloid @theru Ah, a good clean its never had! This seems reasonable after some 2 years now.
@NYbill @theru I bought a 'rubber bulb syringe' recently to help flush out pen nib assemblies. A very useful device for getting out old ink. Amazon sell them (in the UK anyway).
@NYbill ...but that's the badge of a true penman! A craftsman in pen and ink!
