   i'm reading and configuring #firefox following the advices of https://www.privacytools.io ...but WTF this entry:

   dom.battery.enabled = true -> false
   (Website owners can track the battery status of your device.)

   Seriously Firefox?

      @silkevicious I think that has been depricated for some time in firefox. But it used to be possible.

         @dreiann it's still here in #firefox 60 beta...meh...i'm a bit disappointed...this thing should have never been even created at first IMHO...

            @silkevicious @dreiann The idea probably wasn't that bad - it's so that websides can server less battery intensive stuff when the laptop is low on battery. But it can also be used to track. It is by the way not a firefox thing - afaik it was some web standart

               @theru @dreiann hmmm yes you could be right, i haven't considered this possibility of usage. In this case it could be acceptable, but we all know we can't constrain only to this use.
