I have not run Arch, but have had great experience with Manjaro XFCE. It has been fast and stable. The only snag is when I dual boot along side other Linux distros sometimes the Grub gets messed up and has to be fixed to get a boot menu. I've had that happen when I updated Ubuntu and its Grub, which Manjaro didn't like. But maybe that's my fault for running multiple distros on one machine. Have fun. :)
