@natecull @tomasino here in coastal East Anglia you have the windward side of a ship, and the leeward side (pronounced "looward" in the old dialect).

Of course we know that "pissing into the wind" won't end well, which is one reason why British people often refer to going to the *loo* when they visit the WC, even on land (in older buildings often in a separate room to the bathroom) 🚾 🚽
