God damn, the Github main page does NOT do a good job of explaining what it is or what it's for. Imagine being someone trying to learn to code and trying to figure out what this service even is:

There are waaaay too many of these tech-centered services that do a completely terrible job of expressing what the service is or what it does or what it's even _for_. Come on, devs, we can do better.
