    #introduction

I've been working since about 1995 on an #omegaproject to develop the software required for a something that I see in the hashtags here might be called a #solidarityeconomy.

Most recently working with @mayel and @bernini and others on an #openappecosystem using the #valueflows vocabulary and protocols.

Welcome ! This is a neutral group to talk about how we can build a suite of interoperable, open source tools which support transparent, democratic, and decentralized organizing. It's not a working group, but becomes a resource where all creators can gather to exchange information about their projects and practices. Also, if you have an idea or if you want to work on something concrete you can start discussing it here. At some point it's good to create your own loomio's group (or whatever you want to use) to work on your project. Don't hesitate to go on this github page (https://github.com/open-app/core) to know more about it.

@bhaugen @bernini @mayel At first this looked like decentralized lipstick on the central planning pig, but upon further reading it doesn't seem to be that at all. The system appears to be about improving the flow of information to help individual actors make better decisions rather than about trying to build a system which can itself make decisions.

      This could be huge.

The rough theory behind this is what the P2P Foundation called "mutual coordination economics", or what Holochain calls "agent-centric", or what Greg Cassell calls "agreement-oriented organization".
