   I think this was actually an irresponsible statement, and there's some meta-analysis to be done on how this case was handled. I expect that EFF was given exaggerated/alarmist information.

         @maiyannah @rysiek It might not be possible to break the crypto but the human system is a lot more fragile and susceptible to scare campaigns.

      @bob @rysiek If the EFF did not research this information themselves, and just repeated salacious claims whole-cloth without looking into it, then they have fault to bear as well.
