Bob Jonkman (bobjonkman@gs.jonkman.ca)'s status on Friday, 18-May-2018 23:39:11 EDT Bob Jonkman I keep telling myself that potato chips are made from vegetables, as if that makes it OK. -
Hund (hund@linuxrocks.online)'s status on Saturday, 19-May-2018 05:16:25 EDT Hund @bobjonkman The potatoes are probably the least of your issues. The palm oil most use for snacks and other products are very bad, not only for your health, but also for our rainforest and our wildlife. You should therefore avoid anything with palm oil and only buy products that use better alternatives like the sunflower oil.

Tagomago (tagomago@mastodon.social)'s status on Saturday, 19-May-2018 14:24:56 EDT Tagomago Even better, extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil (depending on your location). Sunflower is still low quality fat in terms of health, althought better than the (refined) palm oil included in highly processed foods.
