    In all these years no Mech game has got me into things as much as MW2 did with the Temper Edge mission.  Luthien in MW2: Mercenaries got close though.  BattleTech's in another fucking time zone from any of that.

      How'd 'mechs' originally become a thing anyways? It's one of those concepts I wonder how people ever came up with.
