Only by a certain circle tho, and a lot of the time they're not inherently the type of people you'd expect to actually know.
It really just depends who you listen to.
FPS can be just as broad as RPG. In an RPG you 'play a role' and in an FPS you 'are in first person and have something that shoots'
Links Crossbow training would be considered an FPS by plenty because of the generalized term, and I doubt you'd like that.
