zoowar (zoowar@indy.im)'s status on Wednesday, 04-Oct-2017 17:25:05 EDT zoowar Something that separates identity, message distribution, and message content. An earlier criticism of #ActivityPub by @mike was quite reasonable. The one in this thread suggests he has a drinking problem. -
mike (mike@loadaverage.org)'s status on Thursday, 05-Oct-2017 01:29:43 EDT mike @zoowar I'm sober. You are free to implement ActivityPub and come to your own conclusions about its suitability for the intended purposes. In fact I encourage you to do so. A lot of really bad decisions have been made recently and they say sunlight is the best disinfectant. -
zoowar (zoowar@indy.im)'s status on Saturday, 04-Nov-2017 02:31:53 EDT zoowar I read the spec. It is foolish. My issue with you is not technical, it's personal. Please treat people with more respect, especially when you disagree. -

AndStatus (andstatus@loadaverage.org)'s status on Wednesday, 04-Oct-2017 23:33:08 EDT AndStatus @zoowar This is exactly what I propose in this #ActivityPub specification bug report: https://github.com/w3c/activitypub/issues/260
Separation of Actors (e.g. a Person) from Users of servers (user accounts) even on a conceptual (domain model level). Please support this fix!
