brennen@HerraBRE this is an interesting one - i'm in the middle of some decisions about mail software, and i'm basically ruling out anything that's going to lock me into a storage model i can't port to different software later on (or use with tools like notmuch).
of course i have no idea how to balance my priorities for that against other concerns like "getting all your mail stolen".
