    So here's a heretical thought. Should there be a new encyclopedia to rival Wikipedia? Maybe using ActivityPub and fediverse accounts.

    Wikipedia was the poster child of an open approach, but somewhere along the line it became something else.

    If we started Wikipedia again from scratch what features should it have to mitigate the problems which the legacy Wikipedia encountered?

      definatly a federated structure to host the content, and a way to present multible versions, so that their is by software design not enforced to have one dominant version.

      The question that comes from this, is how the discoverability would function, so that it is also by design busting silos and countering afirmation biases etc.
