I just want to log out. Currently I'm doing `pkill gnome-session` for that.

    https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/30783/how-do-i-enable-the-logout-option-in-gnome-shell/

There was a org.gnome.shell.always-show-log-out back in Gnome 3.10, but here in the future (3.28) we don't have such luxuries.

I guess the easy way is to just register another user, but this is just so stupid.

Oh look someone had this exact issue on NixOS (which I'm on) ... and they decided "yeah that's how Gnome works" and closed it. Urfgh.

Ok, so I added another user in configuration.nix, nixos-rebuild switch and *plop*, now I have a logout menu. Nice that it did it dynamically, but ...

I know this isn't Windows, and you often don't actually have to log out, but I did it several times these two weeks, partly because the machine is new and I'm fiddling with things.
