Ah, Angular. There is now a nice feature that if some library does setInterval in its code you won't be able to use Protractor for end-to-end tests because it won't be able to figure out when Angular is done. And apparently there is a way to track what's causing zone issues but it's underdocumented and its unclear how to use it. And people wonder why I try to avoid frontend.
