I have a dilemma, a big one. The company I work for develops an open source syslog server (syslog-ng). Recently, "we" started to provide official Debian packages, but only for Debian Jessie, and hidden behind a registration wall and an API token. (There are unofficial packages for other releases, without a wall.)
Needless to say, I'm not happy about this. Neither the registration wall, nor only supporting oldstable. It's pretty much useless.
So I've been thinking...
