    @moonman @delores Yeah, I definitely know people who say "SJWs" when they're neither nazi nor not-old-farts. They're just tired of being blamed for inequality of outcomes, when they feel they've done reasonable effort toward equality of opportunity.

      Everytime I discussed with people who called others "SJW", they went to blaming a huge group of people who want to do good for the actions of a small minority of people who want to force an extreme ideology. And there was lots of emotion involved; the feeling of being attacked.

        @drak Here's where I link to that illustration with the circle community and the square community who mostly talk among themselves, and when they do hear from the other community they hear the loudmouths, so they think they hate each other.

          yes … and its horrible to see a friend fall into such a trap—and how hard it is to get out. The word polarization is too harmless for that.
