      Some people have this weird culture of thinking 'I have to prove I learn, but I must never say I have made mistakes' 
      
      You learn -from- mistakes. No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes and learning from them is a good thing.
      
      This odd "I learned things and grew as a person cos that's good but I never made a mistake cos that's bad" shows you...didn't really grow all that much.
