bioware do really need to try and fix up their public face tho
considering they do make decent games currently

andromeda and inquisition were far from perfect
but a lot of their hate was people being biased and insulting stuff cos they hate bioware as a company
and while i generally like bioware games, and think genuinely believeing that bias to be unfair is silly
i cant 100% blame people for that with how bad bioware looks to your average consumer

a lot of companies have employees state their opinions and i'll never get why
just, shut up, make games, thats your job

i guess just...dont say things you -know- are gonna be madly controversial/viewed as dickish?

@katiekats Or, you know, say things knowing those things can and likely will have consequences and be prepared to accept those consequences. A lot of people will say controversial things and then act all surprised when they blow up. Granted sometimes its taking things completely out of context or some shit, but cmon, you don't have to be a fucking honours student to figure out saying the popular games critic/commentator/whatever who just died was a shithead will end up making a lot of people pissy.

you have a responsbility to your place of work
you have a right to speech but you should know when to speak and when not to
i have no fucking idea what im on about im very tired and in a lot of pain so none of this will make sense and is mostly blabber

@katiekats Well, that would require people of the coming generation to actually care about the consequences their speech has ON OTHERS and while I'd certainly agree that should be a consideration ... good fuckin luck.

i think a lot of people just fall into the pattern that they have to give their opinion on -everything-
cos well theres a lot of ways to fall into it, from different angles
when actually sometimes keeping shh shh is all round good
its just not considered cos we live in an age in which you come up with a thought? its typed on keyboard immediately
