    I don't quite get the following American Mcgee seems to have gathered. 

    Aside from the Alice games being arguably 'cult'

    His other games...are generally considered mediocre.

      Lets take...Edgar Wright, as a comparison. I know he does films, just roll with it for a mo.

      Scott Pilgrim is considered a 'cult classic' whether you like or dislike it.

      But the other stuff Edgar Wright has made...is generally considered quite good by most.

      So if you liked Scott Pilgrim, it wouldn't seem odd to then follow Edgar Wright, cos hs other stuff is generally well liked.

      In the case of American Mcgee, he has his 'cult' thing...but...his other work...isn't...generally well liked.
