You know what bugs me about Stardew Valley?

You can romance characters of the same sex. You can even marry them. But if you decide your farmer is het, then no gay exists in the whole setting.

Seriously, there are het marriages and one het relationship and het crush between NPCs. And no reference to homosexuality unless you're playing as a homosexual. Even the ex of one of the female characters changes to match the farmer's gender. It's weird, and a bit unsettling.
