    Google/Alphabet put a whopping $20 million into GitLab B.V. through its investment offshoot at the end of 2017.

    But, yeah, keep running there guys just "because it's open source".

      @vinzv GitLab always has been caring about a higher compliance level regarding GNU open source/free software criteria than GitHub. https://www.gnu.org/software/repo-criteria-evaluation.en.html

      Let's face it: GitHub has been used by many projects, but since M$oft bought it, it's like a shithole. That place stinks. Probably this is why the masses migrate to other repository services.
