    @maloki I just want to clarify that the reason I keep mentioning forking is not as an excuse for project maintainers to ignore their users, but to remind the community that we have that option, if we feel it's necessary. #ForkOff

      @maloki for the same reason, I'd also point out that instance admins also have the option to switch their site to a different app that supports #ActivityPub #ForkOff. The inter-app federation means you're not stuck with #Mastodon, which like the free code license, also protects communities from #LockIn (" Like-in not lock-in!" Dan from GroupServer)
