    other people's insecurities are super obvious and can only affect you if you, too, are insecure

      @GinnyMcQueen nobody can ever successfully offend you if you can always assume that they meant something helpful and/or complimentary, and either find a way to read/ hear it that way, or just leave it at that and move on.

      @ginnymcqueen When they do that it is because they can't find anything of substance to insult, so I never feel hurt by those.
      BTW I am going to start using the term "Sanctimonious fat-ass" to insult people :-P.
