    @jk ryzen doesn't like ram very much so it's entirely possible that the ram just can't achieve its full speed, especially with 4 modules. my previous x370 motherboard paired with a 1600x couldn't even run 2x8gb 3200mhz sticks.

    bios options were set to 3200mhz but it was pretty much constantly at 2133mhz instead

      @jk my new x470 motherboard with the came 1600x now runs at least 1 stick at full 3200mhz speed, haven't been able to try both sticks since one is defective. not noticing any speed increases but not having memory problems anymore so. that's good i guess
