Ted Gould@vickylai I mostly have mine because I believe in professional organizations and the standards work they do. But I also go to several of the local meetings and enjoy the content. Might work well for you traveling to new areas to find the tech people there.
But, I'm rather upset they still charge and restrict the standards they write. I hope that IEEE can step into the modern world there.
Also, I got the ted@ieee.org e-mail alias. So I can never quit as it is pretty cool.
