@satchmoz mentioned phones as a safety issue, and as I am fairly anti-phone in my stance, I wanted to boost that sentiment.

My mother and I often had to flee at a moments notice, or communicate from a strange place. Nearly everyone in my immediate family has been kidnapped at some point, myself included.

Phones are a crucial tool in the fight against violence, to keeping safe via your tribe and public services.
