What's the bet the first thing #Microsoft do when they take possession of #GitHub is remove these sentences from the Terms of Service?
"This license does not grant GitHub the right to sell Your Content or otherwise distribute or use it outside of our provision of the Service."
"The licenses you grant to us will end when you remove Your Content from our servers, unless other Users have forked it."

IANAL but I suggest everyone add a prominent note on their repo with a link to the page those sentences are from (on web.archive.org if need be), asserting that they consider those sentences to be part of the implied contract they made with GH when they created their account. Even if they are removed a more recent version. Or just move your code to an instance of #GitLab, #Gogs, #Gitea, #Phabricator, #RedMine, or something else before Microsoft takes possession of GH ...
