increasingly convinced that websites don't actually want me to visit them. ad culture has gotten so bad that ads now take up multiple entire screens of my massive phone between paragraphs in an article, pop-ups appear that are impossible to close on mobile and take up a large portion of the screen on top of massive social media icons and obnoxious floating navbars

and then there's the pages that make you wait 15 seconds on an ad screen before actually getting to the content
