   opinions on QUAKE CHAMPIONS:
   - solid mechanics
   - good graphics
   - the lizard person is a girl
   - somehow the crates system feels less like a moneygrab and more like a somewhat satisfying unlocks system that progresses at an acceptable rate
   - it takes fucking forever to load, and i hope you like waiting 3min to be placed in a multiplayer match because the matchmaking is also terribly slow
   - if you're not very good at the game you'll probably end up playing against bots forever

      i recommend it as a pretty fun and enjoyable fast-paced fps. sadly i'm hot garbage at reaction times but i still have a lot of fun with it. i'm pretty consistently average against the bots :p

         it won't be free in a couple days but if you get it now, you get to keep it forever. otherwise i believe you'll have to wait for release, though they could end up never offering it for free again so. may as well get it now

            oh yeah one final complaint: you have to pay to unlock all the champions and they do have different abilities so that's kinda fucked up. also something about not being able to create certain custom games to play with your friends unless you have the paid version?

               honestly i don't care about the abilities champions have so much as the fact that the only characters you get at the start are "boring white dude in ugly bulky armour" or "ugly bulky alien demon thing" and so once again a f2p game has forced me to be characters i do not at all care for.

               on the bright side, they regularly offer champions you can use temporarily free to try out.
