tethre@cwebber @polymerwitch @maloki regarding a possible end-to-end encryption extension for activitypub: it appears there is someone from the gnupg community working on that, and i have _no_ confidence whatsoever in this community to come up with anything that is helpful for people who are not apex-privileged.
if there are other efforts, i would be very interested in reading up on them, though!
