   It just occurred to me that "everybody" is an acceptable loss when it comes to gun rights. There's no death toll high enough to turn Americans against their Second Amendment rights. That's just how Americans roll. Seriously.

      @chris Scalise was literally shot by a crazy person and he said he didn't change his mind. Maybe not full on apocalyptic but it is embedded in the (remnants?) of the American character.
