CW does not mean "this content makes me feel uncomfortable"

CW is not for "I know ppl are sick of the news though"

CW is a mechanism to allow survivors of violence and trauma and those with _actual_ triggers (read those with PTSD) to avoid seeing or reading about sexual assault, graphic violence, etc which could lead to them dissociating, having night terrors or a panic attack

The way ppl use content warnings on this network makes the concept fucking meaningless
