season passes are the biggest scam. "pay for the game twice in the hopes that the DLC we release for the game eventually racks up to a total price of more than the base game so you save money"
it's not only a scummy practise, but also, why would i pay that much for dlc when i could buy an entirely separate full game with that $ instead
or wait for a steam sale and get dozens of games
