    Why limit yourself to Amazon? I realize its strategic importance, but why not a global tech workers strike on some chosen day of the year?

      I'd be happy if we could find a way of striking that isn't limeted to our 'own group'. This seperation seems to me as breaking of some good amount of solidarity.
      I'd like to see more striking together based on shared values and ideas.

      This could be also a way to counter wokers as a subject of opression by workers themself

      since in current strike culture, it's rare seeing workers striking for others being in the same product chain, as soon it's a different company/job

      @bob The first step is to get any amount of tech workers to agree to unionize.

      For some reason, it just doesn't seem to happen in the US that much. It could be that industry wages are typically high for engineers and other tech workers, or the fact that many small tech startups effectively shut down those kinds of discussions due to internal resource constraints.

      In fact, come to think of it, it's rather hard to just have a discussion about a raise in tech jobs, from my experience...
